The North Shore Country Day Science Olympiad team competed with 41 middle school teams from across the state. WINNETKA, IL — Students from North Shore Country Day returned with more than a dozen medals from a trip downstate for the Illinois Science Olympiad state tournament against 41 other middle school teams. The tournament was held Friday and Saturday at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with the Winnetka private school finishing in 10th place overall and in 9th place in its division, according to school officials.
