By Tom Robb | on October 05, 2023 Glenbrook South journalism students taking part in Sunday's event at Jackman Park included Chloe Eimer, Allie Shelest, Ezo Turshintulga, Katherine Allen, Judy Marsh and Mia Carr. (Charles Miller/Special to the Journal) Librarians at the Glenview Public Library, along with several public officials took part in events Sunday and Monday celebrating intellectual freedom with events for Banned Books Week. Sunday, Oct. 1, saw music and speakers at the Glenview library-sponsored 'Book Jam: A fREADom Festival' in Jackman Park.
