The Holiday in the Park and Parade in downtown Glenview brought out thousands of people on the Saturday after Thanksgiving on what was also Small Business Saturday on Nov. 26, a shop local holiday initiative to support Glenview merchants. 'The Holiday in the Park and Parade is a beloved 26-year Glenview tradition,' said Meghan Kearney, executive director of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce. The chamber organizes the annual event. 'The big highlight of the parade is the community spirit. 'It's all about the community,' Kearney said.
